Criteria for Selecting the Perfect Motorhome

We have a LHD MH, and if the drivers seat is high enough, the side it's on matters little.

We have a good view through two offside windows, to be fair.
Our Hymer is a lefty and we had the van for a few years now and like the LHD.

I'm more interested in a higher torque. How can i find the torque rating on an engine/ motorhome? Is it directly related to BHP, i.e., more BHP, more torque?
I got the torque figures for my engine from the Malibu brochure which states:
“4-cylinder engine with 2.2 l. 140 HP engine: 350 / 380 Nm, 180 PS engine: 380 / 450 Nm” (copied from 2024 brochure).
You will see that both the 140 and 180 engines could have 2 different torque figures, the ones with manual gearboxes got the lower torque engines and the higher torque engines came with the 9 speed automatic gearboxes.

When you decided it was time to change the van how long did it take to find the right used/new one and what was your criteria.
LHD or RHD?
Which bed arrangement?
Oven or not?
Separate shower to washroom or not?
What did you decide you really couldn’t live without in your next van?
The 3 most important things are Layout, Layout and Layout.
