Credit card for eu

Hi what’s the best credit card for use in Spain Portugal had post office card before in euros no charges paid in full in 6 weeks this card no longer some say Halifax where with Barclay any help appreciated

We have a Metro Bank current and credit card . Charge free in EU.
Easy quick application if you go to a branch. Not many around but we felt worth a 50 mile trip to get the cards. Whole process within an hour.

No need to visit a branch any more. Can apply online. Not sure how long it takes though as like you went into branch to open accounts several years ago.

Minutes. The longest wait is for the postman to bring the physical card.

Have/had Halifax, Nationwide, Santander, and Metro bank cards.

No the Zero account wasn't available when we opened our Santander account but we were able to get a Zero Credit Card.
