Creating a new Campsite

Are most modern MH's fitted with an under vehicle drain for the grey water discharge and does this always require a drive-over discharge point?
Every one I have owned in the last umpteen years has a grey outlet for a drive over drain however most of us have alternatives for when the place they are staying only has a higher level emptying facility. The most obvious being a bucket, though I have a wheeled waste master as my outlet is a bit too close to the ground for a bucket.

Personally I avoid places with toilets and showers as I object to paying for facilities I don't use, and it does put the prices up as they need constant maintenance. EHU I don't mind so much as at least it can save a bit of gas.

Hello Funsters.
We're creating a small, simple (and affordable) MoHo site on our island of Rousay, Orkney.
The plan is it's to have level hardstanding with grass awning/sitting area adjacent and the very simplest of facilities to keep the whole project as environmentally low impact as possible.
Did this type of "Aire" what do people consider to be absolutely essential?
So many coach-built and converted MoHo's now have full onboard facilities, solar etc we're looking at offering the best value pitches whilst still allowing the visitors to the island to have a comfortable (level) stay.
Did you do this? I’d be happy with a place to park & no facilities but facilities are a bonus.

Stayed there last year, great place, great view, Martin's a very interesting chap.

Recommended.

Edited to say : you have to reverse on to the ferry! They'll assist you if you have trouble so don't let it put you off.

Edit 2:if you go to the island shop make sure you have a facemask.

A great choice of Orkney beers.

Ooh, almost forgot, don't bother to buy eggs before you go! Fresh laid eggs in the henhouse every morning!
