The first craft meet of the year will follow the (belated) Easter Rally at Woodside Field from 18th to 22nd April 2024. Bring your own crafts along for a lovely relaxing weekend meeting like minded people. There may be opportunities to try new crafts. Look out for future updates.

I'm sorry, I know I offered to do a workshop, but one of my main events of the year for my business clashes with that weekend. I shall miss everyone.

Thanks for that but at over 6 hours each way (without stops) to Woodside it would be unlikely to be practical when I am on caring duties Fri pm to Tues am each week.

I am totally exhausted and not sure how much longer I can continue having 4 days at Mum's doing a full week's work, cleaning, cooking, laundry as well as the usual caring stuff then 3 days at home doing the same here. When at Mum's there is never more than 3 hours sleep at a time as she is always up during the night. She cancelled the help and care that was in place. As she has capacity to do this there is nothing anyone can do until there is a crisis.

I left earlier than usual yesterday as I had an appointment on the way home in the afternoon - so tired I couldn't face the drive home so had a night in a Travelodge.

edit: It is what it is and there can be only one ending - all a matter of time.

So sorry to hear life is so hard for you at the moment. Really hope you manage to find some help for your mum that she will accept. Maybe she will realise that you can't help her if you are exhausted.

6hrs each way is an awfully long way without the added pressures so totally understand its not very practical.
