County Durham and North Yorkshire.

I maybe should have asked you what kind of van you have as your route was a bit "Challenging" if you were driving an 8m coachbuilt or a tag! PVC should be fine. Some tight bits as you discovered. It was a little busier than normal today I thought. Maybe the good weather.
Yes my PVC was fine. MH might be OK but car/caravan combi defo not.
Sorry took so long to reply, we were outside until dark and simply relaxing/talking.
Idyllic

Heber farm campsite looks really good.
Excellent site. Lovely surroundings.
Theirs a couple of walks not too challenging but most walkers here are after the fell walking judging by the people we saw high up the hills.
The site itself is split into 2 paddocks.
Lower one is terraced and grass pitches which are level.
Upper is hardstanding, some of the pitches are not level.
We are on pitch#3 and driving up to it 🤔, have to use ramps; but put my front wheels just past the gravel onto the grass which was "dipped down" and we were perfectly levelled.

Sitting here for our last hour .
Some campers already gone.
Watched a couple of fell runners go by.
Good on them😛.

Left Buckden at 11, getting to be a habit.
Would have liked more there but was fully booked.
Heading south, first 6 miles were on narrowish roads but OK. Road was in the valley bottom with hills both sides. Lovely scenery.
Arrived at Skipton and detoured to Aldi.
Liquid provisions needed.
Arrived at Riverside ccc cs Cononley at 12.30.

Just here for 1 night.
Pics to follow.

Cononley ccc cs, Skipton.

Peaceful but quite a number of tents, camper vans; motorhomes.
Field with lots of mohos is a rally field.

We have been home since June 21st.
This is a bit late but other things got in the way.
Summary.
Barnard Castle ccc cs.
Good site, nice area, the castle and town is worth a visit. Good walking area. £21 a night.
Heber farm ccc cs, Buckden.
Lovely basic site, gorgeous scenery. Drive down from Barney on "B" roads was a joy in stunning countryside. £18 a night.
Riverside ccc cs, Cononley (Skipton).
Nice area, 2 big fields + a couple of small areas.
Both big fields were heaving, it was the, start of the weekend.
Field in the video with just MoHos on it had 24 of them, some of them flying flags; a rally?
The field our van was on had a mix on pvcs, MoHos, cars with tent boxes and quite a few tents. At least another couple dozen units plus 3 or 4 in each of the small areas.
At £15, getting on for a grand for each night, a nice little earner.
We would revisit first 2 but Cononley was too rammed for our liking.
Total miles, 230. Daily average 46.
Upcoming trip to Wales, we are stopping in the Skipton area on our way cross-country avoiding motorways where possible, but not staying at Cononley.

Wales trip now worked out.
Skipton, Southport, Mold, Caernarvon, Shrewsbury, Welshampton, Whitechurch, Buxton, Home.
Visiting several NT and CADW places.
Starts Tuesday 8th of this month.
Not just Wales and not long enough away but DIY kitchen beckons.
