Cotswolds knowledge?

This year for our annual August holiday my MBH (much better half) would like us to travel across to the adjacent Isle to focus our stay in the Cotswolds area. We have stayed a couple of nights in Cirencester and liked it a lot but didn’t get to see much due to the restrictions placed on us by our mobility challenged dog. Now we have a dog cart so can go out and about more. We still have a CaMC membership and the facilities are nice to have every so often but very happy to go wild or park for a night or CL. We have sufficient solar to keep us going but only 1 toilet cassette.

thanks for your suggestions,
Cush

I have just booked a couple of nights in the CaMC site in Moreton-in-Marsh on the recommendation of a far more experienced motorhome owner than me. There looks to be some good pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Really looking forward to it.

Plus there's a lovely little aviation musuem just outside the entrance. Only open on Sundays.

The rollright stones are on my to-visit list. https://www.rollrightstones.co.uk/
