This was posted on my Australia thread. It being directly Motorhome related i thought some may want to look and....................well i can only imagine.
As promised some numbers.
Going to put this on Motorhome chat so others can tut.
Van hired for 6 weeks and 4 days.
Total Ks done 11,667
Diesel burnt 1673.95 litre
Total cost A$ 3,766.61 (about £1,950)
Oil used 2 ltrs
26 sites stayed on which includes 1 wildcamp
25 sites had 16 amp leccy, water, grey dump on the pitch.
1 of the 26 water should be purchased at A$ 1 per 40 ltrs (we didn't need as filled at site before)
Cheapest site was A$20 (bout £11) most expensive A$ 120 (bout £70)
Saw about 36 Kangaroos
Saw about 18 Emu's
Saw countless Lizard type things (one was close to 1 mtr long)
1 blown tyre. (cost refunded within 24 hours)
Rental cost for the period A$ 16,471,86 (approx £8,400)
Loved it and would do it all again from tommorow.
