Costco fuel prices

I joined as a trader, I showed confirmation from the tax people. They have a list of occupations that can join. Mrs. Odd used to be a member as an ex local government employee, but it's cheaper to join as a trader, and there's no restriction on the entry time.

I understood it to be restricted if wanting to use store / warehouse outlet but free online of have I got that wrong (again!)?
No, you're correct. There are a few membership types, the one that's open to joe public is online purchases only, can't use fuel stations or shop in-store.

Also, on a trade account, you can add another 2 cards on same account on different names for extra users. You can do this at customer service in store, needs a photo ID as it will be scanned on your card.

anyone got executive membership for the additional 2% ?
Yes. It more than covers the fee each year.

Unfortunately fuel doesn't go toward the 2%, but tyres do!!

Will probably revert to an Individual membership using my Professional Registration when I retire later this year.

It is now open to the general public, you just pay slightly more for membership, as I recall £30 as opposed to £26 a year.

Got a link to the membership page ? I can't see one open to all, the closest is an individual membership which is open "to current or retired employees of select employment groups or professions".
Anyone can join the "online membership" but you can't visit stores or buy fuel with that.

Sorry, you're right I thought they'd opened it up as a couple of friends have just purchased membership and I know they don't work in the "approved" categories. I have a limited company so it was easy to show those details.

my peugeot van doesnt like supermarket fuel but does like costco fuel so id say its quality fuel, it can be up to 13p litre cheaper than normal fuel prices. filling your tank a half a dozen times more than pays for your membership. i regularly save £20 plus pounds filling at costco but as someone else said try to visit out of peak times.
if your traveling around the country you can use any store

FTFY.

In some countries UK debit cards may not be accepted, from experience.
