I'm a newbie
Just been quoted £946 which includes £54.85 MOT for my Ducato based 2019 Adria to be Serviced and MOTd at a reputable garage. Only done 5000 miles but apparently it has to have a 60000 Service. Grateful for any comments...

Good to know.. Think I will have to take it on the chin.

Our Ava (Adria Matrix on a 2017 Fiat Ducato 2.3 multijet 150) is currently in at our local Fiat Professional garage for its annual service - quoted GBP420 +VAT for the service and 693+VAT for the cambelt. Total 1335 inc VAT (+ MoT) And it needs a new airbag ECU! 😨
And I’ve had to ask them to change the brake fluid because that’s not in the service(?)

Just picked Ava up from the garage - getting and programming the replacement airbag ECU took longer than they thought so the MoT ran over to today. Wallet's 1625 pounds lighter, but at least that's it for servicing for 2 years and the cam belt for 5 years. (The extra 300 are for the ECU and brake fluid change).

Crikey! We paid £819 for a 3 year Ford service plan including 2 MOT's all fluids replaced & air con flush/re gas if needed. The plan also includes a 10% reduction on all additional work including brakes & tyres plus free puncture repair.

Could be a good deal depending on service interval, my Boxer is 2 years or 25000 miles.

I paid £385 for full service and MOT at my little independent who also does our cars.

Tell them you want the 5,000 service. You're the customer.

They're conning you :(

I have just had the cam belt, water pump, pulleys and tensioner replaced plus a major service, brakes checked and Al-Ko rear chassis greased for £893.88 at Red Smoke in Sheffield.

Sherwood professional in Sheffield wanted £146.00/HR + vat for 11 hours labour and extra for the parts.
