Advice Please.
Crossing to EU, will have a PCR test in 48 h before boarding the ferry, driving through 4 countries before reaching the second ferry to Greece.
Is the EU as one country in relate to Corona tests or we will need to have/show a Corona test before crossing to each country?

Wasn't suggesting it, and wouldn't dream of trying it, just pointing it out (y)
Thanks. I find it fascinating that yet again, within the EU individual countries are creating their own rules for movement of people during the pandemic rather than having a standard set of rules. Not much unity is there?

They are stuggling to hold it together; all for one and err one for one as it happens.

Some people in the UK seem to imagine that the EU is a state rather than a confederation of states which share common rules when they agree to do so. One of the areas that they collectively agree NOT to share is ultimate control over their borders. When circumstances - such as a pandemic - demand, then the individual states can close borders completely or implement whatever other measures they feel appropriate for their own country and their own electorate. It is a very sensible position in my opinion. Why should the Danish, (3,245 Covid deaths in total), be obliged to implement the same measures (with reference to COVID) as the Italians (136,955 Covid deaths in total). It would make no sense.
It's not a question of unity it's a matter of a common legal framework of a confederacy that reserves those powers to the individual nations that they agree collectively are important to be reserved.

Be careful with Austria, they changed the rules on Christmas day didn't publish it on the Internet and yesterday refused entry to a plane load of people from the UK.

I would be inclined at the moment to examine the rules for going via Switzerland to Italy, rather than Austria: down the Rhine(French or German side) to Basel and then a variety of routes.

ordering vaccines individually as they all had the right to do so but many chose to group order but it certainly was not compulsory as continually spouted by one BJ

About as much unity as there is in the UK.
