Indeed, and, if not on hard standing, their effectiveness is enhanced if you spread the load at the foot of the steadies (I use a short length of decking).

I am one of those who can happily sleep in a rocking van, (20 years sea time might be why?). having said that I LOVED the jacks in the R-V`s. Pull up, Park, Jack`s down, LEVEL without even exiting the the driver seat!. When you are ready to go the engine wont start until they are up!.

Won`t ever use the steadys on the Rapido though, Grovelling under the van to set them, is a No No. and they are JUST steady`s not levelers.

Gosh, if people think the ALKO type steadies are difficult to operate I can’t imagine what they’d think of these!

Use them occasionally, if I do I put the handle across the pedals so I can’t forget them

Had them on every van I have ever had and never used them except once forgot thay were Down and plowed to lovely furrows through the campsite
