... and you can use it as a posser when manually washing clothes! Not thought of that, even better it’s now ingenious!
As my French sister in law said. Without an Opinel you haven't got a hope in hell.I’m signed up for a newsletter called Cool Tools it started years ago posting about “one tool you didn’t know about every day”.
I thought MHF might have some great insights here.
By way of a start, we love our breakfast knives (also known as picnic knives). They’re like sharp butter knives so you can cut bread and meat but also spread cheese and butter. They’re all you need for picnics, breakfast and most bbq meals. These are made by Opinel (who generally make great knives) we chose them because orange . They have a serrated cutting edge which has lasted without sharpening for at least six years. We also have some Kuhn Rinkon equivalents that are just as good.

They’re expensive on Amazon :-( we bought in France for less.
So, what’s your cool tool for a MotorHome that others probably don’t know about? Some rules: let’s not criticise each others favourite tools (no cadac vs cobb wars please

I think Gerber is better than Leatherman. The handles open rather than fold back so you don’t get the open section digging into your hand. With practice, you can use the Gerber one handed, so getting to any tool while holding an object or a ladder. Alas UK knife always mean you can’t carry them around in your pocket as the blades lock. But I always have mine in the van.I find the Gerber multi tool range as a reasonable cost effective alternative to Leatherman. Not trying to say they are as good, but meet my MH needs
I used one at work, over the years I did many breakdown calls using just that and one of theseA Leatherman is my go to gadget for travel, current one is a Leatherman Wave.............they should last a lifetime but I keep forgetting them in my backpack, have lost 3 at different airports now, keep promising to leave one in the MH but ..........
I managed to pick up one of these last time in Spain - very useful for one pot dishes and also functions as tyre inflator
