I look forward to replies also, because my 2007 unit has a mind of its own and as it's, apparently, no-longer produced, I have to live with it or spend several £100's to perhaps get it fixed. Always seems to work better on EHU, so I have just replaced my starter battery to a higher Amperage to see if that makes a difference?🤞

Was the top left light on when you pressed the button.

That’s a Sargent EC51. I have the same one. It may be that it needs to be rebooted. Here’s how:

It’s worth a try.

I would say the control panel is the prob, follow offagen guide, I was going to suggest unplugging the panel to reset it. If all else fails ring Sargents preferably when you can be at the panel and they should be able to help.

Thanks just emailed them...

rob1234 Not sure either without seeing the attachment in full. I believe you have a EC155 PSU and that needs to communicate with the EC51 control panel as your on/off button is not working as said before it could be the panel and a quick reset by disconnecting for a few seconds then re-connecting may resolve your issue, rather than waiting for a reply from Sargents.

4.3 is the section of the instruction manual for the Ec51 control which states that the blue lights flash to indicate charging when the engine is running and the 12v habitation system is isolated. The manual can be found if you go to the Sargent electrical web site shop and look at the power systems section (The EC51 is shown in with the EC155 PSU user instructions and has instructions for it there that can be downloaded)

HI it says see 4.3..? Not sure what that is ...?
It's the third section of my screenshot that I believe might be relevant to your problem - rebooting the control panel software. I had slightly strange behaviour of my EC51 a couple of years ago and rebooting the software resolved it. I simply removed the panel enough to disconnect the multi-way connector then reconnected after 30 seconds, all as per the instructions.

Has anyone resolved this issue.
I also have two blue flashing power lights and a locked control panel.
Have reset main unit and control panel but sadly no difference
