Denby just came back to me, unfortunately they only do a "high top" for the transit up to 2013........ So way out for my 2019.

I would imagine there is some sentimental pull for you to keep your current van, why not chat to the 'providers' they may actually give you the final push to change vans, especially if you use it as a stepping stone to a van they could also use from time time ...?

There is definataly some sentimental pull with the van, but its more about how practical it is for me, and how different it is. I love everything about it, and its so easy to drive and park, just like hopping in the car to go shopping. Plus Skye(Dog) likes the fact that its low and she can just hop in the side door, and plenty of room for her bed.

I know these are all elements that I could easily find in another van, BUT, If I am really honest with myself, there is a bit of apprehension.

Having spent the last 45yrs as part of a couple, making decisions and plans together, going on holidays together, etc etc, then to lose that partner and suddenly find yourself as a "Single Person", which is something that neither myself or wife had ever been.

So its a whole new ball game for me. There is no issue with me selling the van or Part/Ex against another, in fact that was encouraged all along, The kids aim with the initial van, was to get me out of the house.

The apprehension is about me and Skye going off by ourselves. I know there are dozens of people out there who go solo travelling, and a good amount of ladies who travel by themselves. But this is all new to me :giggle: and the weekends away we have done so far, have been very enjoyable. I just need to get used to this new life (y)
