Some newbie questions relating to Gas bottels and connectors.

I've been struggling to find a 6KG Calor Gas bottle to buy for our new MH due to a shortage. We have one already but would like to have a spare onboard.

Homebase have Gas Light 5KG which will fit in our locker. https://www.homebase.co.uk/gaslight...OzVx9t5WKAxCOAzhUVgFuoS-VxkJLtxTdZSDU3t_GJoNE

However our regulator mounted in the locker is a screw on connector and this Gaslight bottle seem to be push on.

Would something like this be the solution? https://www.outdoorbits.com/gaslow-27mm-clip-on-bp-gaslite-to-218-lh-01-1673-p-948.html

VXman I've followed this thread quite carefully as we have the same problem, so was your final purchase from eBay the solution to your gaslight connection? Thanks

The clip-on connector with Gas valve in the top would have work on VXMan's set up as he has lots of clearance at the tope of his locker. I wanted to use a 10 kg bottle, so my clearance is much smaller so I used the adapter below on the connector below and all works perfectly.

I got mine from Huddersfield Gas as two separate items - however I am pretty sure it it identical to this below sold as a bundle (also Huddersfield Gas) and a bit cheaper.

But yes - good solution - all working well.
