Can't see how you can be the son of something that doesn't exist,,BUSBY.But they actually worship the same God? Just that they use rules dreamed up By Mohammed, who happened to be lower than JC who was at least God's son, & basically the tea boy.
Thought there might be a racist joke before long
I hope you feel better for thatA race isn’t a religion so it can’t be a racist joke.
Also probably correct as well
My apologies to anyone who thought my posting was intended to be racist. I read it as a little humour based on the innocence of children of different faith upbringings and a reflection on how commercialised events such as Christmas have become. I have good friends who are Catholic, Muslim and Jewish and I am certain they would all have laughed at this humour. Two of our Jewish friends already have!Thought there might be a racist joke before long
The Dali Lama isn't vegetarian........By the sound in the distance there was obviously a shoot going on somewhere. Chris said that the animals there were the cleverer ones, as because the land is cared for by the Bhuddists, no living thing can be harmed or killed, so they are safe.
Nothing racist about a touch of reality! Unless you want it to be that is...Thought there might be a racist joke before long
I really struggle to understand your definition of "racist"?Thought there might be a racist joke before long
I don’t think that is true, there were times in history (middle ages) when the Muslim communities lived alongside Christian and Jewish ones and shared their knowledge freely. It’s always been the case, if you look at history the Muslims have always wanted to be ‘top dog’ in the religious stakes, throughout the centuries they have tried to wipe out other religions, it’s a ‘power and control‘ thing nothing to do with which God is the best. Not that I believe in God, he in all his forms, is just a crutch.
No need to apologise my comments were meant to be slightly tongue in cheek. My apologies to anyone who thought my posting was intended to be racist. Yep, my brother eats meat but not while amongst the Bhuddist community. The site rules for anyone visiting whether Bhuddist or not, is to not drink alcohol, eat meat or smoke. Even practicing Bhuddists leave the grounds for a smoke. The Dali Lama isn't vegetarian........

Dalai Lama: Alright to have meat of dead animals, not those slaughtered
On a trip to Arunachal Pradesh, the 14th Dalai Lama advocated against killing animals for food and said India was the best country to uphold religious tolerancewww.hindustantimes.com
Occasionally on a Sunday in the early 60's when I was pre-teens we used to visit my Uncle Fred and Auntie Rose who were Buddhists. I was miffed that my Uncle Fred always invited my Dad down to his shed to see something or other but wouldn't let me go with them.Yep, my brother eats meat but not while amongst the Bhuddist community. Probably the same sort of lunatics as the Christians and the Jews who want to blow people up. A tiny minority of any religion and not representative of the mainstream. That’s great and in my eyes how it should be.
The question has to be why do we get these extreme Muslims wanting to blow people up over what seems to be religion
I appreciate it seems a small amount want to do this but I just can’t get my head around it.
I was brought up on a working class housing estate in North London. It was alongside a quite affluent Jewish area. I can assure you that all of the story was real!Which pa

True but look at the Attacks on Egyptian Coptic churches and followers in the 2000s and previous to that Muslims regularly tried to control the Samaritans and the Assriyans, though the Kafirs gave as good as they got. I will not talk about ISIL trying to kill everyone !I don’t think that is true, there were times in history (middle ages) when the Muslim communities lived alongside Christian and Jewish ones and shared their knowledge freely.

You will probably find that those persons whose religions you mentioned will see the funny side of it, however some people feel they have to be offended for them, usually had a humour bypass, it must be terrible to be offended by something so trivial. My apologies to anyone who thought my posting was intended to be racist. I really cannot see this as racist and would happily tell it to my Jewish friends who I know would think it funny. They wouldn’t for one moment think it insulting or racist or play the racist card and they wouldn’t think kindly of anyone playing that particular card for them.Thought there might be a racist joke before long
Not at all racist.Thought there might be a racist joke before long

I travel regularly to Malaysia a mainly Muslim country and there are Christian Churches and at Christmas decorations are put up in the shopping Malls so everyone joins in. My Muslim friends there seem very nervous though about the Taliban and Muslims from other countries who read the Koran in a different way and are basically just terrorists! That’s great and in my eyes how it should be.
