Comments please.
On the motor home Im about to buy I check the tyres out they are Continental and looked new the owner as a recite for them but when I looked at the side wall for information about the age there was nothing. Just after where it says DOT AC&C DEF there should be date like 0311 made in March 2011 bit nothing there.
This made me wonder if they are remolds? Do they still make remolds?
If they are I will have to get them changed any idea the cost of four good tyres not sure the size its for a 2.8 fiat Ducato.
How can I prove they are re-molds if the current owner as been ripped off?

Remold tyres are still available but unlikely from Continental

Thanks Geo this is where I checked having down loaded the guide on here but I saw the code like DOT AC7C DEF and expected to see the date after as per the link you sent but there was no date at all!!!

I checked my dates after reading a recent thread on this but I have Continental VancoCampers and like John can't make out any dates. :Sad:

I believe the date info is embossed on one side only so may be on the inner sidewall oh:

Hi John and Cheryl. Try the link above for Continental tyres. I think you may be mis reading the codes available on the side walls.
