- if you're travelling about and moving the next day then put tomorrow's beer in the fridge the night before when it's cooler
- also if the daytime temperature gets above the low 20s then buy a big bag of ice from a supermarket and put half of it in the bottom of the fridge close to your beer (in a polythene bag or container so when it melts it doesn't go everywhere) and put the other half in the freezer compartment and use it in the same way as the first half the following day
- if you've done 1 and 2 and your beer is still not cold enough, then an hour or so before your first beer of the day, stick a couple in the freezer compartment and replace as you use each one (this only really works with small cans or stubbies, unless you've got a cavernous freezer compartment).
