After becoming somewhat disillusioned with both tomtom and Garmin,I am thinking of installing co pilot to my android head unit.Could anyone who already uses it please give thier opinions on routing, traffic info etc. Also is it straightforward enough to install 3rd party points of interest? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Loaded Magic Earth onto my phone and all worked okay, but when I loaded it onto my headunit the app would not open, I uninstalled and downloaded it again and again the app would not open on my headunit. :frowny:
That's odd? Is that with Android Auto? It works fine on mine although I generally use an old 10 tablet because the screen is much clearer on that in sunlight compared to the head unit screen. If it's Android Auto try selecting the app from the menu screen?

Update : I left a review stating my problem on Google Play store and Magic Earth support replied the next morning saying that the app from Google Play is mainly for phones and will fail when it doesn't find some phone sensors.
They invited me to contact Magic Earth support and they would send me a link to download a version that would work on my head unit.
I installed the apk from the download and Magic Earth is now installed and running on my head unit.
Hopefully, Magic Earth will perform better with narrow lanes and bridges lower than our van than Copilot and Sygic have(not on occasions) in the past.
