Came across this guy on the Tube and he’s very impressive indeed. Take a look at just what’s involved in replacing your clutch, in all weathers, but good on him for his sheer work ethic and skill.

I genuinely take my hat off to him. Maybe a Wildbill in the making 👍🏻

I have watch quite a few of Kevin's clutch change videos, especially the motorhome ones.
He's a real master of his trade and as a plus, he is based only ten miles along the A14 from us if we need of his services. (y)

Got to be a fit lad too, the way he bench presses those gearboxes up again, I’m genuinely impressed. Not sure about what he charges, but at times he’s fitting 3 clutches a day.

Great to find a real specialist. He looks like he's dressed to storm the Iranian embassy.
Blooming cold, wet and dirty under there, but yes he does. Some of his videos he’s got his mouth covered too, but what a guy, works in all weathers

At least he has a decent drive to work from. Changed many Landrover and Bedford clutches out on exercise lying in mud. Sometimes at night using red filtered torches.
and me with draglines, trucks and bulldozers but I learnt quickly and concentrated on driving the things.

Much warmer and drier! 👍

Top man, hope he is making a good living from the hard work/

Been there, seen it, done it Arte-et-Marte and we loved it, but FRG A mech so none of this poncy LR clutches and wearing ya pants back to front and squatting to piss and about as bright as a right angled torch and green army batteries 😂 👍🏻

Interesting as his last video was posted 4 days ago.

Yes, I saw that, but if he posted 4 days ago then is still about as such, as in still alive. 🤞
I might give his mobile number a ring a see if he has packed up permanently or just for now for some reason, as he was going to be my go to if I needed a new clutch.

Being on the tools long term your body is going to start complain.
Doing it outside in all weathers it will happen a lot sooner.
I knew a lot of mechanics from when I started in the 70s. I only know of one that is still full time at it into his 60s and only an other two that are still active in the motor trade.
While it's expensive to get vehicles repaired mechanics wages are not the best and never have been.
Personally went in an other direction in my late 20s and was able to retire early. No way I would be wanting to be lifting gearboxes etc now.
Impressive videos non the less(y)

I suspect he has packed it in, and is still making money off youtube. Money for nothing once you have the videos in the bank.

He was replying to comments half an hour ago on the last video, and one of the comments was that they had seen his tools up for sale.
Hope he has made his money with all his hard graft and is going to sit back and enjoy himself, and he is not packing it in as he has injured himself. 🤞

So he did.

Just seen this posted today, so have asked the question again as to whether he’s still in business or not. He might have changed his mind now that the better weather is coming or he’s just uploading old clips of work he’s done in the past, who knows 🤷🏼‍♂️

He still has this on site page.

Our conveyance solicitor quoted us a tad under £1500 inc VAT fixed price. No point in dragging it out with that kid of deal. Reasonable charge I’d say.
My price is similar, getting close to contract exchange, should all be done by the end of the month 👍
