Go to clou for sale moto.de if I could drive left hand drive I’d already own it ,but I can’t I have tried.

It's Broken Link Removed for anybody who fancies a browse, at 8.5 metres it is shorter than it looks but 2.5 metres wide so a big lump on the road, quality van but the kitchen space is pretty rubbish and 7490kg  I don't think so.

The blue seats would put me off.

If you click on the picture on the ad to enlarge it the price is £290,000 (330,000€) also mentioned in the panel below the description, perhaps a scam?

It says NP 330.000, which stands for Neu Preis, which is RRP or directly translated as New Price

Its 4 cylinder one Martin so significantly lighter, but yes they are a strange layout. I don't remember whether you've been in one but the kitchen is on the left as you go in with floor to ceiling units opposite. Wouldnt be our choice ( and for various reasons they weren't a big seller) although I do like the front panel arrangement with the stacked square lights.

Yes been in one of those Jon and thought the kitchen was a joke to be fair, yes I worked out it was 4 cylinder but with a Clou build and 2.5 wide body do you think it's really going to come in at 7500kg ?

Its a shame really, I love the outside but couldnt live with the inside. I also dont get the stubby little unit on the rightside, almost like they intended it to be a bar but then changed their minds part way through. The first one I saw I wondered if it was a customer alteration but ive now seen 2 or 3, and how would they do the drawers?
The 4 cylinder chassis was significantly lighter so it might work at 7500kgs but probably not especially usable.

Lovely quality van, wonderful layout, if I was interested in a van that size that would be my layout.
Great well thought out use of the space available.
People get too consumed with layout, all motorhomes are a compromise.

I can live with most layouts. My list when looking which took years to find was

A class
No more than 6.5 metres
RWD
Fully winterised
Cab air con
No cam belt
Alde heating
Roomy shower
Garage
Somewhere to sleep for 2 people.

Layout was no where near the top, it’s a van that you use to travel to places, everyone is a compromise compared to a house.

Another rubbish kitchen Jon unless that is just the butlers sink, we went in one I think at Windsor horse show or it might have been Dusseldorf but it was really disappointing inside.

I like the style of it but yes a bit short of prep space. It has a dishwasher though

And 700 litres of fresh water but only 250 each black and grey ;) lots of battery capacity but don't know if it's lead or lithium ? I will have another read.

I would take this instead, has the Allison and garage will take Smart Roadster :giggle: I know somebody that has one of those ;) Broken Link Removed

It says NP €330,000 that was the price new in 2007.

I couldn't live with it, the Fantasic fans have been fitted skewiff. :giggle:
