Hi everyone, some advice and opinions please.
What do members use to dry clothes? For example away towels after showering, wet smalls, other clothes after washing them. Do you use a free standing rack, rack hung outside from an open window etc etc. Secondly does anyone use/recommend microfiber towels?

Be careful choosing your pitch on a French municipal site!

Mine was the one with a wire clothes line so neighbours hung all their smalls to dry at the back of my pitch ... not a pretty sight ...

PS I love those microfibre towels. They dry so fast. We bought a fluffier type for SWMBO at the NEC.

The fluffy towels from Decathlon are called microfiber but not as we know it.. unpronouncable item name (see picture for name and texture).. sorry cut off the product label with codes o itView attachment 407129 as it scratched the wife
FURTHER TO THE ABOVD SEEMS THE PRODUCT WITH THAT NAME NOW IS A TRADITIONAL MICROFIBRE SQUEAKY, SLIMEY, SOON TO BECOME SMELLY SO NOT SURE WHAT PRODUCT I HAVE IS CALLED. GOOD JOB WE BOUGHT 4 THEN...
The NABAIJI range has two types of towels - the Nabaiji Microfibre Towels which are normal microfibre towels. And the Nabaiji SOFT Microfibre Towels - which are the nice ones.

We have the soft microfibre towels too and they're much nicer than ordinary microfibre. I also have a couple of the matching hair towels - they're far better than any other hair towel I've tried , they get it really dry.

Sports towels from Decathlon. To dry you could try suction hooks on the outside van body (Amazon) if in a warm place! Or pegs on the edge of a cassette awning works well too.

‘Microfibre‘ travel towels from Mountain Warehouse, haven’t used a ‘normal’ towel for years!
Our ladder on the back folds down halfway-using a strap to hold it in position-with a string on it makes a good clothes line.
In winter a multi-peg ‘sock’ dryer hung over the electric Oil filled heater.
Apply any of that to all washing, if it’s dripping hang in shower.

Cannot bear the feel of microfibre so we have linen bath towels. They look a bit like large waffle tea towels but soak up moisture really quickly and dry mega quick. They take up very little space and every time they are washed they get softer. Not cheap but deffo worth it for us. We also have a couple of Turkish hamman towels which are really versatile as can be used for pretty much anything including tablecloths and picnic/beach blankets.

WednVegas thank you for your suggestion re linen towels. I previously bought Dock and Bay microfibre and thought I'd have to use those but bought linen waffle ones this week and am trying them out at home now. They are lovely...feel much nicer. Haven't got the van yet but am okay for towels now. Where did you get yours? I bought from Linen Me.

Normal microfibre towels have a slimey feel about them but Australian ones feel like normal towels. Expensive but worth it. Can’t seem to get them here.

Glad you like them, We got them from Linen me as well. They are expensive so I asked my sons to buy as Xmas pressies last year to have a second set and worthwhile checking Their website regularly for their sales.
