Ah but @Mousy if Jock is right and he hasn't failed us yet, Cliff will be back in shorts (and underpants) tomorrow! Nothing as cute as a black Red squirrel could possibly be rabid! However the black cat looked a bit suspect (and decidedly scabby.......)

Getting back on topic I aim to please @cliffandger..........................and it's a clear blue sky with glorious sunshine already, for your road south, and our road north.

BTW, that upturned brolly you saw on the pitch yesterday, had only been purchased a couple of hours earlier. It's in the blooming bin now, completely trashed.

Well Funsters - Jock was right - the sun is shining - and @Mousy.......

They are out!

We decided to stay in Camping Stobrec for another day and enjoy a couple of hours on the beach, before making a second attempt at visiting Split. After seeing @JockandRita off we headed to the beach (all of 20 feet from the van!) and are now about to catch the bus. Will catch up later with lots of photos of the Diocletian Palace etc!

Well that was this morning and we are now back from Split. So glad we gave it a second go, it was a totally different city in the sun! We wandered the streets and saw the steps that we were standing at the bottom of looking up at a water fall yesterday.....

We definitely will not be driving the van into town when we leave.....

Just off up to the campsite restaurant for a pizza, but I will come back and tell you what we did next..... It was a belter!!!

Back from the restaurant - pizza was good, house white was better and we are now back in the van. So where was I.... Oh yes, walking around the alleyways of Split - look what we came across -

Amazing or what!!!!! We paid our 7.50 kunas each and went in!

As the leaflet says 'Pay your attentation please!

We were told not to take photos, but as this wasn't a church I didn't fear the wrath of whoever, so I knocked off the flash and took some surreptitious photos..... Prepare to be amazed my Leetle Funster Froggie Friends......

This case was entitled 'at the Dance'.....

This one was 'The Athletics'.....

Then there was the 'Day at the seaside ......

But it wasn't all play......

Then there was a day on the water....

And the 8's rowing team.....

And the camping holiday.....

And the BRILLIANT At the Circus......

And last but not least - it should have been called 'a FUN day out'.....
