Any recommendations about this?

Van is getting on for 20 years old and rubber around windows is looking pretty weathered and dry. Can they be renovated or do they need replacing at some stage?

I am presuming that this would be a DIY job if renovating/replacing!

I use autoglym bumper gel on mine and it’s on a 2006 plate and on the window surrounds, seems to do the trick quite nicely 👍🏻

Be careful that any rubber seals that are in contact with the windows are not treated with a solvent that will damage the plastic window when in contact with it. Always let any treatment to the rubber dry before closing the window.

Got this in a free pack from VW a few years ago and keeps things nice and soft. I did buy another bottle from them but can’t remember what I paid
