I know this has been asked any times but which is the better emovis or Fulli , tried to get fulli last night but can't put bank details in , but emovis is easier to sort out but a tad more expensive so I am stuck which one to go for ,so over to the collective.

It would appear to me having driven so many miles in Spain over recent years that a good deal more than half have vanished.
Don't know about the re instatement, spose maybe if they can find a company daft enough to take them on.

This Socialist government is committed to removing tolls - but only as operators' licences expire.
The more right-wing parties are dedicated to re-instate them; this complies with EU policy that users pay for roads ...

We got rid of Emovis and now use Fulli as it covers Italy as well as France Spain and Portugal plus it’s cheaper. Linked it to Revolut which we’ve had for years.
Hi Carolyn, do you link it to a revolut euro a/c or just the standard a/c and is it easy to transfer from your main bank ie Halifax , not keen on mobile banking .

I set it up from the Euro account although the IBAN numbers are the same so might not make any difference.
I have transfers liked to my Lloyds debit card and they’re usually instant.
I do also have it set up to do transfers from my back account but I’ve only done that once or twice when the transfers from the debit card didn’t work for some strange reason. I’ve had Revolut for many years now. No problems at all. Darling daughter in the FCDO doesn’t approve though so I use Starling when I travel with her!

For those of us who do not go through France or Spain, what are Fulli, Emovis, etc.?
They are tags to fix to your windscreen, you can go through Toll lanes on the motorways without having to hang out of the window in the wind and rain and hope your credit card works or you have the right cash. They’re never quite the right height for the vertically challenged! Too much or too low.

You get billed a month or two later. If you don’t go or aren’t likely to I wouldn’t worry though. Get up to date info about 3 months before you go. The “best” tag varies and there are sometimes offers.

Thanks, that is an excellent explanation.

Am currently reading about Stellpläze and the document also talks about German tags, mentioning specifically ADAC Camper Mautbox, Mautl-box, and Bip&Go which allegedly cover many countries. I'm not up to speed with tags etc, so could someone give me a quick "comparison" of these with the tags you've already been discussing? Ta.

Well, I'm in Italy now, and the Fulli tag has been brilliant throughout France and Italy, and I don't anticipate any issues when we go to Spain and Portugal later this year.

Registration was simple and quick, and all you have to do is put in your bank IBAN number during registration, and if you don't know this ring your bank and they will give it to you. I'm with Natwest, and didn't need to create any special account.

The tag arrives from France within a week, and you get monthly statements. It's all done by direct debit. Its all on a great little app that keeps track of your progress and costs. Couldn't have been more simple or efficient.
I've been looking at toll tags and favour the Fulli one because it includes Italy as well. Glad to hear they can work on a Natwest account. Trouble is I left it too late for postal delivery. We're leaving on Sunday.🙄 But I see Fulli have some shops in France so I'll try to pick one up there. Hopefully!🤞Thanks for the feedback.

If you don't have a tag how do you pay for the "free flow" motorways with no toll booths or barriers? We don't use motorways much but may cross the Millau viaduct this year which I believe is this type now.

Handing in my Emovis when I get home. It just doesn't work. However I do think it's because of its position on the windscreen and overhead cab blocking the signal. Tried waving it about, but still no joy. Such is technology 😕
