Having spent some time researching manufacturers, their machines, their issues and their software I decided that Bambu Labs offers the best set of compromises for me.
More time spent with Fusion360, Shapr3D and Onshape in the past week lead me to think that I'll take up crocheting instead ....

It’s not easy to master these CAD programs. I gave up 3 times before finally making any headway.

I have an aversion, from IBM mainframe training days, to north American voices on training videos so finding tutorials in 'proper' English isn't easy, tho' there are some on YT
