Rally Chester Rally Easter 2016.

I thought we could get there at 2pm has this been cancelled

I thought it was 2pm like last year

Oh no 1 hour earlyer than riff raff enter time for funsters like last year then :-( .

I thought that was good last year as it got us all on and out the way before the other campers turned up. Looks like going to be bedlem at 4pm eek

I agree with you but when I said that they explained that the Festival Team don't arrive until 2pm hence the 4 o clock, l agree that's why I suggest those who want go to the Greyhound Retail Park first as it makes it easier getting there.:) I will have another try at getting it a bit earlier but at the moment it's not looking likely .

I think they can expect a traffic jam outside by imposing 16:00hrs
Their lookout

This looking like it going to be the best one to date. ;)

You know, if you change "dance" to "ride a bike" that fits so well. The music, an engine purring away, the wind and the smells in your face. All cares and worries vanish.

I don't know if anyone cares but we won't make it 'till mid day Friday.

We won't be there until late Thursday Brian, but it looks like we will both miss the crush of Thursday afternoon!

Yes indeed. There will be a queue back to the motorway, it's the Brit way.

I our case it's a visit from Granddaughter, she wins over FUN.

Had a couple of emails fro Camperfest, with information about stuff they put on for the campers, hadn't realised but there seems to be food and drink available after the food festival ends each day.
Anyone who's been before have any idea of the prices they charge, quality of food drinks etc.
Local bands too.

Thanks Lin :)

Sorry @Milliemobile not sure what they are talking about, usually when the food festival finishes that's it for the evening. Chester is only a short walk away and there is every conceivable restaurant there you can think of if you want to eat, there is also a restaurant on the race course.
There may well be something I am not aware off as Camperfest runs a lot of things which Motorhome Fun is entitled to join in with as part of Camperfest. :)

If you would like to organise one I am sure a few would join in, (y) but in all seriousness you are certainly able to join in with the Camperfest one, I think a few did last year, it's a case of mix and match what you want to join in with.

Is this event well signposted or do we just follow signs for racecourse?

Oh so beautiful a photo ... and I am so jealous.. I agree and can't believe how intense the love is we feel for grand children. I thought nothing surpassed the love a mother feels for her child ... but then God made grand children. :) Sorry, bit heavy Brian .. feeling bit 'pensive' (?). Look forward to seeing you and Di . xx

Cant go wrong as it is THE RACECOURSE (y)
Unless your name is MOVAN ... doh.... I ended up at the station... REMEMBER.. follow the signs to the racecourse once in Chester ... DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR SATNAV TO THE POSTCODE .. you will end up on Thomas the tank engine. :( and narrow road.

(with apols to @Techno for capitals. :) xx)

Thanks Polly, the more Easter Bonnets the more Fun. (y)
