HI Techno, sorry to confuse. I booked ages ago, and I am on your list. I have also filled in Jims form recently. I was just confirming, because I have been posting elsewhere about selling the RV I had, and was without a van for a while. However, just put a deposit on a new to me Murvi, so now I can come.

Hope that makes sense.

Looking forward to it immensely. Also would like to join a solo quiz team.

Does anyone know how far a walk it is from the Racecourse to Chester railway station, Sophie is going to visit a friend at Rugby so might be travelling to Chester with us to save her some money and a couple of train changes.
 
@lorger It's the other side of town I would say it will take at least half a hour. Worth a taxi ride.(y)

Looks like there is a bus from Grosvenor Road, the S4, about every 12 minutes on a weekday, not sure about weekend but a web search will find it, direct to station. May save some walk if with cases. View media item 18360

Yes I am pretty sure the run every 15 minutes from opposite Chester Museum , which is about a good 10minute walk from were we are parked on the race course. :)

Lol Sue, I'm just sitting here going through the threads putting some more teams together, takes a lot longer than you think, will be fun though, especially with the added alcohol . (y) Be about a hour and lists should be sorted.

Not wishing to read all 32 pages :sleep: but is it possible to turn up and pay on the day please?

We were anticipating being in Spain but Barbara has been ill recently so we can't book anything at the moment (glad I'm not trying to get my ferry fares back!).

Hi, yes everyone brings their coffe with them we have the Easter Bonnett Parade, the cake Competion , though a fair few who don't make cakes bring a shop bought one, but we do have some really nice home made ones we share then what is left who ever made it takes it back to their van to finish over the weekend.

Don't see us on the list. Have I messed up our first ever rally? Really looking forward to it even if we do sink!
 
I'm sure you'll need an assistant. We're first timers too but still worried about not being on the list.
Would be happy to do a "bonnet".
