Rally Chester food & drink festival 2018

Followed the link from the Camperfest email, but the site is not secure, no "padlock" symbol and http is stroked through. Not keen on putting my credit card details on this link. Anyone else had this problem ?
 
I suggest if you are concerned that you book on the phone. No one has ever had an issue to my knowledge

@Carol, all sorted with Briony over the phone thanks. She says the website is secure at their end but maybe there's something going on with my pc that needs checking ?

19 Stewart. Is it too late to change to a hook up? If it can be done, I would appreciate it. I am now concerned that the weather will be lousy and my solar panels will not keep up. You might have noticed, I think too much; that's what comes of spending so much time in my own company.

Hi Stewart, the only way to do that is to get in direct touch with the food festival at Chester, but I would not worry the majority of the van don't have electric and it is very expensive if you need any extra power I'm sure we will sort it out. When you get to Chester please introduce yourself to me so I know where you are, on arrival day it's always very busy so sometimes I don't always get to see everyone. Some years we do have really nice weather so hope there is no need to worry.
 
Booked and paid with Electric.
 
O.K. I called them, found out it costs an additional £45, and decided I will risk it! This bloke I keep talking to in my camper is useless at making his mind up.
 
so how much for the weekend for a family ?

... another question, if I don't need EHU, are the pitches/selection any better?

I ask this 'cos some campsites have better non EHU pitches..
