Well Dave K and Mickx... We have been ok a couple of times at quizzes but they can vary so much... Remember the quiz team I was in in 90's having to set the next fundraising quiz for the scouts as we'd come last 4 times in a row!!
In our defence tho it was 'bring your own drink and nibbles' and we got very thirsty trying to answer the questions.

We did do well at a local pic quiz a while back cos we coerced a couple of history grads (daughter and husband) with the promise of food to join the team. That covered us for history (always tough), most of the past few years music and some of the films and celeb stuff.

Your right it is becoming a good start to the season think it must be about the 7th year since I started it just asking if any one fancied coming with us as a post on the forum, I think the first year about 30 turned up, and stuck with it through some tough weather, but I have put a order in for some nice spring Sunshine so here's hoping. Do you want to go down for the quiz Fri and Easter cakes and bonnets on Sunday morning with @Anthea M , should be fun. I'm sure @Tech will be along to add you to the list.

What's the general consensus regarding the cakes for Sunday morning, do you normally buy, make one in the motorhome or make one before you leave, this obviously isn't a question I'm asking but on behalf of a worried other arf , she makes great cakes but has never tried any baking in the motorhome.

Do whatever you want. You will see some shop bought, some tarted up shop bought and some fantastic designed cakes made in both the motorhome and at home. No one will mind what you choose to do, it's all for fun and a great way to meet people with a cuppa and enjoy whichever cake you fancy a slice or two of!

Please bring one from home if you wish! Homemade or bought , I made biscuits and chocolate crispys last year at home .

It's week ten with the leg cast now, I am really hoping it will be off before then or wading through the mud and floods may be difficult! Oh no! I had forgotten, it's actually going to be the hottest Easter EVER!
