Cherbourg to peschiera del garda

Hi all just wondering if anyone has done this trip and what route is the easiest to take in a 5ton 8mtr motorhome.
We were going to drive to the south of France and up to garda but not sure if this is the best route . Thanks in advance.

I’ve done from Peschiera to Perpignan all along the motorway/ main roads without problem.

I have also travelled to Peschiera from Belgium a number of times travelling through Germany Austria and into Italy all off toll roads and that is without a problem in an 8.5m van at 4t

But from google directions the only bit I have done which you may do is Peschiera to Milan and I then went south to Genoa and along the coast into France as above.
