In Ro, for 6 euro credit, you get 100gb valid for 30 days on Orange. Vodafone does a similar deal. I got two sims for best coverage. I don’t buy on line, just small local shops do top up.

I don't think you will get a deal like that in France.

Then I will make sure I top up here before we are on the move, with 10 euro top up it’s valid 90 days all over EU.

Not sue if they do a sim that meets your requirements, but Tesco Mobile can be paid for using Clubcard points, giving two for one value, so half price. They use O2 network.

Thanks for the information Two on Tour, managed to pick up a Free mobile data sim at more than 50% cheaper than Orange, with a whacking 115GB more for a month!

I just signed up for a Superdrug Unlimitied SIM. I don't know if the included Beauty card will do much good though these days!

A few years ago we wanted to buy Free mobile SIM but couldn't without signing up ( cancellable monthly) with a GB/ UK bank account. ( Despite being in the EU at that time)
Has that changed now or do you have non GB/UK bank account?

Just walked in to shop, used thw campsite address and paid by Clarity Mastercard

If requiring a local sim in Spain look at Digimobile 30 day contracts can be altered to payg 5€ top up required every 6 months
On contract unlimited data, calls and texts 25€
