Just stayed on a site where the hookup is metered and you pay for what you use.
3 night stay and we have used a grand total of £3.80.
I can live with that .
do you know what the unit cost was .. ?

"cheap as chips" is meaningless without knowing that

I've searched their website, but can't find it listed

Just for information, I emailed the site for the electricity unit charge

Hi James

The current unit charge is 0.35p Per KW and this is on a pre pay basis when you arrive on site. This can be done at the pay point on site and any electric over £1.00 left at the end of your stay will be refunded automatically. I hope this helps.

Kind regards
Samantha

that is, 35p per kWh (not 0.35p per KW )
