What do all the different kgs mean ? 3300kg 5800kg 1750kg 1900kg.......

I have for example to take into account the canopy at 24kg
More like 35 - 40 kg also the van may have come out of the factory 100 kg over, in real life 470 kg payload is very low. From experience 700kg is about right for two.

Autotrail have a section of their website for manuals, dependant on your year of manufacture. Within the handbooks will be all the technical data you need but this comes with a word of caution, the last word is the last plate under the bonnet as has been described above. https://www.auto-trail.co.uk/downloads/handbooks.

@Pagen ,
Out of interest, what does you V5 (Registration Document) give as your MGVW?
This may help indicate it the original has been uprated by the converter or a previous owner.
But as has been said on here, the only way to find out your actual weight is to put it on the weighbridge.

Your converter (Autotrail) plate may be in the engine compartment above the radiator. It should be next to the manufacturer plate (Fiat).

If you find you are overweight, ie over your axle or max weight, don’t despair! Ask again on the forum and we will tell you how to go about getting your max permissible weights increased. It could be a paperwork exercise only or you might need to make some changes to your suspension. We can advise you of experts who can help you.

Thank you for that link re find a weighbridge. Checked it out and in Cambridgeshire, where I live , says no weighbridges found! Can’t believe that surely....
I have used this one:

They charge £5. They can only really weigh total weight accurately, but you can weigh with just front or rear wheels on the bridge to get an idea. There is a steep ramp onto and off the bridge, so take it slow to avoid grounding

I will have a gander at the v5 . Good suggestion. Also thanks for all the other tips. Ours is a 2007 EKS Tracker which is the short version at under 6 m on a 250 chassis. Suits me and HWMBO as it is just for the two of us. May get back after checking and weighing re possible upgrading if needed.
