Autotrail Tracker
I have a 2007 Autotrail Tracker.
It has a solar panel and an MTTP Dual Controller which prioritises the leisure battery before charging the engine battery.
If I have the van connected to EHU I know it will charge the leisure battery but will it also top up the engine battery?

If your Autotrail Motorhome is fitted with a Sargent PSU 2007 or PSU EC 225/325/328/155 or 176 you need to select the battery to be charged (starter or Leisure) when on EHU .

Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.
Easy way to check is to note the battery voltage off EHU with a multimeter and again when EHU connected. Obv it should be a higher reading with EHU connected.

Since 2015, still learning
If like my 2006 AT, you will definitely have to select the vehicle battery on the control panel as said above ⬆️. My solar also has a trickle charge to the vehicle battery but this plays no part when on hook up. I stick mine on vehicle charge overnight on ehu. Just remember to swap back over when you start using loads in the morning although emu should cover any drain. You could add one of the van bitz box of tricks?

Thanks. That’s helpful.
