Just a quick question regarding ceramic coating to campervan (Adria twin) acrylic windows. Is it safe to apply and has anybody had this done the there windows while paintwork treated? Many thanks

Paintseal is I believe a well known applicating company. I bought a van with it on a few years ago and cleaning it was simply washing it. Expensive, but as it was applied before purchase, brilliant.

A few years.
No sure if it will work on windows.
Works best on new paint, or after a treatment to revive paintwork.

We've always had our cars ceramic coated, never been disappointed and we have now booked our Motorhome in for next month at PP Protect.
Check out Roaming Radford's YouTube, worth a watch and specifically mentions acrylic windows.

Will let you know how we get on with ours.

I've been doing research on this as I was seriously considering getting it done to the new m/h. However having tried this product on my car for the last few months, I'm impressed enough to decide it will be more than adequate for my needs as I'll apply it immediately I collect. They do a few variations for those even more interested in detailing.

Sometimes Amazon links to a specific product get hijacked and become a generic Amazon link. This has happened to the link at #7. Not sure whether it Amazon or my iPad that wants to hide direct links. It happened to one of my posts recently.

What product? The link has become a generic Amazon one. I noticed this on one of my postings, the Amazon link to the product was hijacked and became a generic Amazon link. Big Brother is watching.
Thanks. Changed original link as well

don't forget to inform your insurance company you have had it done, asked mine and they come back with a higher price, it seems it costs more to repair!!!

Had it applied by them prior to delivery. Great product and as said earlier easy to clean and does add some protection against scratches. There are also a couple of after care products they sell - wash shampoo and an exterior paint cleaner.

I had the Williams ceramic coating on one of our cars about 18 months later Liz modified the front wing and it was repaired. The non ceramic coated bit of bodywork and the rest look exactly the same to me!

Very pleased with our Ceramic coating applied by Supremecoat Chesterfield
After two years in the Spanish sunshine it still washes off really easily and no apparent UV marking so money well spent.
Just remember to wash with a PH neutral shampoo or foam.
