CD or Cassette player for Pioneer head unit.

I don’t have any of the draw backs you describe with my none CD digital music.
I hope you at least can use cd-r to get 11 original CD in the same space of one uncompressed CD.
Was with you till last paragraph. Whoosh way way over my head for my little Brian to understand all those acronims.

Sorry. CD-R is a common type of recordable compact disk.
If you make mp3 (v0 quality) copies of about 11 music cd, they'll fit onto that recordable CD-R ;)

About 11 CD as it depends on how many minutes your discs are

Thanks for explanation, I sort of get it. But if, as my new van has no cd player, it's radio 2 only. Dab = useless. I do however have radio player on my phone, and I could ( if bothered) use that through Bluetooth, so I am told, and listen to wyoming country. But I don't, have bose thing to use for that. Once upon a time long long ago I actually liked technology. Now back to rubbing to sticks together to make fire, much more environmentally friendly.🙂

Is it 2021 here? Or have I encountered a worm hole and find myself in 2000 🤔

Just put all your favourite music on your smart phone.. And if you don't do smartphones, get one 🤩

Right I'm off to switch the telly on so it's got time to warm up for Wogan 😆
Don't forget to bang on the top as well to stop the picture from spiraling.
