CBE DS470 CA distribution board, SOS fuse location

The charger should stay live but I'd still have a loop when engines on. I'm only now about to wire up the B2B side of unit! I've just been looking at relays etc but with link removed(of which a didn't know where it was on our units) I wouldn't need one!
Yes lots of people remove the resistor, I just used a relay so I could reverse everything if we changed the van, as you don’t get any of the value back 💰 🤣

CBE 516 mains charger(s) did work with the link removed, but have put in an new inverter/charger that is wired directly to the bats via a busbar.

Pic shows 0 ohm link as it was on mine - note it was not labelled R37, just used that name as it is what most folk know it as.....
That link is labelled R28 on my DS470CA.
I now know why I couldn't find an R37 as all the posts before had mentioned ;)

The loop with the engine running shouldn't much of a problem as if you are using the van the electrics will be turned on. Just need to remember to fire everything if you take it for a drive when not using it.

You've confused me Lenny, doesn't take much I know but can you elaborate?

Hi, just found thread. Where did you take the d+ for the relay from? Thanks

Am just about to locate where mine is and snip it. Fingers crossed it will be the correct one.

On mine it was the only such resister on the board, all the others are surface mounted jobbies......
