Good news Robert (y), it was a lovely van, did @DavidG58 cave in and see sense :)

Great news Robert, I will save myself for another 2 years time when you are fed up with the next one :)(y)

Well done on the sale, It had to sell quickly as its a lovely van.
Thought about you today as we were driving beside the Swiss border on our way to Lake Annecy.

Richard.

The only thing I can tell you from experience carhil is,, I've just bought my old motor from eBay and the bloke only wanted me to pay a small deposit with PayPal because he said that is expensive,,, they take a hefty fee, apparently!! X
PayPal should never be used to sell vehicles. None of the safety nets exist if the goods sold are just handed over. They only apply if a courier or mail service is used to deliver the item sold.
There is a warning somewhere on eBay about this.

Just got caught out by e-bay charges,

Had a John Deere ride on mower that I wanted to sell and listed it, it sold for £1080 which was not to bad as I only paid £1150 for it new 9 years ago and was only expecting £4-500, anyway e-bay charged me £108..
Have a load more stuff to clear so will have to look at the charges a bit more carefully now.

See the euro has gone a bit tits up again It was just going up steady and probably would have gone up to 1.2 by now if it hadn't been for them clowns the other day.

I thought it would not hang around long well done on the sale .

When you sell the new van please tell me first ;)

Congratulations Robert!!
