Carmarthen Show May 2013

Well we are sitting at in-laws about 20 miles from showground and the wind is making sitting in MH rock!!!!! - hope weather is better for tomorrow. We will be coming over. Our first time at a show ever..............

Jim if you need a hand to set up we can arrive early??

The rain has stopped, the force of the breeze abated a lot earlier, it's trying to start up again, but only intermittently.

The best ones are always the ones our mother (or grandmother) made.

Just set off and straight into traffic on kin M25.

A nice gathering under canvas last night, complete with an illuminated "Bar" sign and heaters keeping everyone toastie:thumb:
 
Well another excellent day at Carmarthen. Right now the tentage is full of funsters and the funsters are full of coffee and bacon and chatting about the fun we had last night/this morning. Superb evening..even had treacle singing:BigGrin:
 
Well, I don't remember singing. Don't remember much at all, except what a wonderful bunch of people you all are. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Now travelling back as a passenger with a bad hangover.

Drunk funsters

We have just had a phone call from John the Sheriff and it sounds like a great party going on. wish we was there. I suppose the only consolation i have is that i wont be going to work with a bad head in the morning. John says they have had good weather, pi$$ed down quite a lot. :Rofl1:

I posted this in the WRONG section so copying it here! An age thing!!!

We had a great time at Carmarthen from beginning to end :BigGrin: My hangover on Saturday morning was a bit drastic and testament of a great night of typical Funster gathering at the portable nightclub.

Sunday morning arrived and so did the rain and the bacon rolls :BigGrin:

A very friendly rally at a good little show. Met some old friends, some very old friends and some new ones too.:thumb:

Well we would like to say what a very nice bunch of people we met for our first ever UK show and for that matter our first "funster" meet.
