Carado water pump

The pump can only turn on if a tap is open with a micro switched system.
That's interesting and I trust your view. I was just quoting what the dealer told us.

So, just to confirm, the truma tank wont try to refill if it sees a drop in level. I just imagined it did. I wont worry so much about forgetting to turn the switch off.......which I often do.

This is truly weird - we have a T339 and it definitely has a water pump switch! It is a 2019

Are you sure it's not a dealer fit like with ours. Ours is 2019 too.

I’ve no idea! We just purchased it on a total impulse and we are so pleased that we did! Just shows how dodgy it is to offer advice on here when all motorhomes are so individual! Also quite pleased that we can isolate the water pump!

Yes that's right the tank won't refill unless the pump is running which means a tap has to be open.
Directly you open a hot tap the boiler will be topped up.

Where is your switch. Is it in the same place as ours.

Ps we did the same. Impulse buy from stock....love it!

It is as you walk into the MH right in front of you on the wood supporting the two belted passenger seats.

Yep. See photo earlier in thread that I uploaded.

My last Hymer didn't have a switch. It was a microswitched system but still a nuisance when leaving taps open over winter. I fitted a switch.
My Hymer is the same, a microswitched system with no separate switch. I only turn it off once a year or so if I store it in winter. There is a fuse for the pump on the Electroblock, so I just pull that out.
