Swift Trekker XL
So recently took delivery of a Swift Trekker XL, which is based on the latest Ford Transit with factory reversing camera. Within the reversing camera unit is also a LED light which can be used to illuminate the floor at rear of van when loading etc. This is normally controlled by a switch on the door but when we got the van there was no switch, so I presumed that this option wasn't fitted.

Well yesterday I removed the door trim that Swift had fitted to fit a Wheeliams ladder and there to my surprise was the switch still in the factory fitted position.

I'm surprised we haven't had a load of threads along the line of
"new Swift Trekker, got this light at the back that turned itself on, I I can't turn it off!!"
You may have opened the flood gates, they were all to embarrassed to ask.
Mike.

Decided to fit the switch in the recess behind the fold down shelf, that way when we sat in rear lounge it can't be accidentally leant on

You mentioned you had a Wheeliams ladder fitted - did you get a rack with storage? Do you have any pics you can share about what you fitted to the back? I'm looking into getting some box storage to connect to the back and Wheeliams keeps popping up.
