Can anyone tell me….

Apparently, because food inflation has gone down. 👍

And pensions have increased at half the rate of the minium wage over the last 10 years. They should double pensions to bring them inline then it wouldn't be so much of a problem.

Relitive to most western European countries our pensions are the lowest.

I don't have a problem with you paying more tax to support me. 😊

Caramel wafers by Grey Dunn,
A crunchy treat for everyone,
Luscious, creamy, simply heaven,
12 for only 1 and 7.
:rofl::rofl:
For people of a certain age. :(

I noticed the olive oil price at the weekend, it's about £8 per litre!
The cost of everything is now at the point where its not sustainable for the average family to continue to have a healthy and secure life without going into massive debt over time.

I don't know why the suits pull their own legs by making sound bite financial forecasts, especially those for the next 5 years and to within one tenth of a percentage point, when subsequently they rarely prove to be anywhere near correct except against their next release of politically contrived figures. Those who smugly claim a reduction in inflation must live in a parallel universe and take the public for fools because no-one who buys stuff in the real world needs experts to tell them what the cost of living is doing or the level of inflation. Today diesel at my local Tesco has increased to £1.63 a litre compared with £1.56 last week.

I also don't have a problem Lenny HB , as a relative sprogg paying tax to fund your lifestyle/pension but you could at least have the decency to reciprocate and occasionally pay some back and PAY some site fees... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
