Good day to all, Saturday arrived couldn't wait to get away spent two days getting the van ready for 10 days in Cornwall, we were up nice and early 4.00am dog in tow, Went down to the van to take the wheel clamp off some nice person had super glued the lock £120.00 bill and we had not turned a wheel. What world are we living in.

No idea what goes through some people’s minds, what fun did they achieve from that !

Blimey that’s terrible, have you upset any little barstewards out lately, I just can’t understand the mentality of it.

Couldnt have been the locksmith looking for trade, wild thought but I remember a company called T&H Tyres - Trevor and Heather Webber, when he told one of the Saturday workers to go down the road and puncture as many tyres as possible, he then had them queuing through the door for tyres, mad but true.

Alternatively, how nickable is the van? If the wheel clamp is the majority of the security, then playing the long game they glue the lock, you curse and get it drilled out and removed. They come back and have one less item to defeat.

This mention of Superglue might have solved an issue we had with our habitation door.
The day before we started this trip I left the motorhome on the road at the end of the drive.Monday morning the door was stiff to unlock but I managed to get in. It was like that until Tuesday morning when it suddenly freed off and unlocked as normal.
Its difficult to prove it was Superglue because there was nothing to show on the handle around the lock but thinking about it this makes some sense. Little s****s.

Out of interest, where was the van parked? If on the road, I wonder if it was a disgruntled neighbour??
