yes brian i have overtaken things but i tend to pull out before i get to their rear end

But when you do get to their rear end you are are less than a metre from them. Should they swerve you collect them. Then by convention it was your fault. But it wasn't.

The poor sod is in intensive care, the odds are that he was not riding safely but I'll defend him until it's proven one way or the other.

Aarrgghhh! That's really frightening watching that video..... I read there was a motorcyclist from Loch Lomond killed whilst riding at the North West run in Northern Ireland at the weekend.
