Went today to find Go-Outdoors, as of 18th July no longer agents for Calor Gas. In the past have always swapped bottles here, but clearly no longer. I wonder why that decision was made? Ah well now searching small local suppliers/ petrol stations, many who hold just a few bottles in stock. Doesthis mean more business for Flo-Gas I wonder!!

Why not make the swap to Flogas?
Probably cheaper in the long run.
Flogas is cheaper than Calor especially if buying from fuel stations and the like.
A 6kg REFILL, not new, is £48 near me now. Glad I only use it for the garden BBQ

My local Flogas also does autogas at 90p a litre… which is under £20 to fill a 13kg bottle

Just rang them and it's £32 for a 6kg propane (red) exchange. So it's gone up to same price of Calor (RRP), but of course no-one sells for the Calor RRP these days. Picking it up at lunchtime!

£37 for 6kg Calor this week from our local guy.
Yeah our "local" Calor is £36 at moment, £32 at the independant small store that we know always sticks to RRP. However most calor stockists (due to lack of stock) seem to be marking up the 6kg (and smaller) bottles.

Flogas is now equal on £32, but far easier to get, as theres no need to worry, it's ALWAYS the RRP on the flogas website.

I got 7Kg for £12 the other day on the way ba ck down from Scotland. I can't imagine why anyone persists with exchange bottles unless usage is minimal.
