I wish I could say that about mine.
It worked perfectly for 70 miles on Friday.
Blowing 5 deg at the vents.
Coming home early this afternoon it worked for 5 minutes then stopped. Just went out and started the engine 15 minutes ago and it is now working again! It is booked in with an auto electrician on Wednesday. If he can’t fix it I really don’t know what to do next.
That’s a pain, drives me nuts when the fault is intermittent. Makes it so hard to find what’s causing it too.

There will be some AC specialist on here but I know people who use the old stuff in a new system as it runs colder but I have no idea
Maybe slightly colder. I should have mentioned pressure and temperature are relative... I'll look it up again 🤔....

Only a couple of degrees in it. That should work OK 🤗 not as efficient of course but it will be near enough you can't tell the difference....

Disclaimer ; Probably 😂

It's just the liquid refrigerants temperature while it's sat boiling away in the evaporator.

Here's a question so I had a pipe replaced and they seemed to have possibly spilled a but of refrigerant on my textured black bumper and its left a stain, any ideas on how to remove this as I am not sure what chemical it is, I was thinking of TFR or Tar and glue remover not touched it yet but not impressed as it looks like a big bird dropping,

It's probably just oil as the refrigerant boils off instantly and is long gone. Unless the low temperature has damaged it, liquid R134a is minus 26°c at atmospheric pressure but you'd have to spill a lot to damage plastic, it doesn't even burn fingers that easily
