I'd decide what facilities/services you think you might benefit from and then draw comparisons on that basis. I can live without either but have been a member of both at the same time, just as I have (circumstantially) belonged to three breakdown services simultaneously. You can enjoy life without memberships (but I'd stick to FUN).

C and CC here ONLY because of a little discount on insurance. Personally I would not bother as I would rather shove wasps up my a*se than be associated with some of the "Members" I have seen on these old fa*ts clubs

I quite like the idea of the small CL sites so am thinking of joining one or both. But I rarely plan ahead and always book 2-3 days in advance (or even less). Outside high season, what are the chances of finding a place in these small (5-vehicle) sites?
