I'm loving all these photos but would run a mile if they came at me. Humans are strange beings arn't we.

When my friend was doing her teacher training at Wolverhampton Poly we went as per normal to their house for an Xmas morning drinky, where we met someone else who worked at the Poly and her husband and they wouldn't be having their dinner until Xmas night, as it was her turn to go in and feed and water the lab mice, cos there was a rota and it was virtually a sacking offence to fail.

I'd never ever considered who looked after 'lab rats' at all until that moment. I instantly liked her for putting their stomachs before her and her husband's.
