Burstner Dealers Refusing to Undertake Repair

I have a Burstner Harmony 690 g just over 3 years old and i have a Water Leak from the forward hatch above the driver and passengers .
I went on the Burstner web site and obtained a list of dealers and phoned two of them The motorhome Depot at Redditch and The motorhome depot at Wythall both of them refused to undertake the work saying 1/As i did not buy the Motorhome from them and 2/they cant take any more work.
I explained that i bought my motorhome from Becks Great Yarmouth in Feb 2019 and they ceased trading about 12 months later they both refused to undertake the work.
I have had the habbitation checks each year to comply .
Is this leak expensive to repair as i would pay for the repair myself rather than have all this hassle.

Hi there. So the Burstner warranty is very particular. It must be endorsed within 11 months of first year, must be done at Burstner dealer to maintain 10 year warranty and must be done every year between months 11-13 I believe. Upon water ingress check this is loaded to Burstner and you get a certificate. Only with this certificate

Hi there. So I found the Burstner warranty is very particular. It must be endorsed within 11 months of first year, must be done at Burstner dealer to maintain 10 year water ingress warranty and must be done every year between months 11-13 I believe. Upon water ingress check this is loaded to Burstner, extra £20 I think and the Burstner system is updated with your details. Only this gets you the warranty that Burstner will honour. Miss or be late and it’s void.

I had a similar issue of Burstner warranty company in Glasgow not doing warranty work but it was simple electrical work. But having had a leaky Auto Sleeper and moving to Burstner I wanted to ensure I had this water ingress warranty

Good luck with the fix. Go direct to burster Germany. They were great with me over email and phone ans will confirm your warranty.

Camper UK will probably take the work but that’s painful if you’re not close. They offered me that option but I just paid the local warranty company which was as cheap as the fuel to Camper UK
